Wellness

Wellness is something that you can decide to do in order to move you toward your own optimum health.  It is a journey, not a destination because wellness should be part of your daily lifestyle.  There are many aspects of wellness. With physical wellness, regular physical activity and exercise is promoted and encouraged in the areas of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility. One should also learn about proper diet and nutrition along with the adverse affects of things like tobacco, illegal drugs and alcohol abuse.

 

Another thing a person can do to enhance their daily wellness is to include massage therapy.  Massage therapy can be used to treat yourself and feel good but it also has other benefits like relieving muscle tension and stiffness, get relief from muscle spasms, relive headaches, help rid the body of toxins and provide relaxation for the mind and body.
