We also use the back chair for treating posterial abnormalities. This is evaluated using the Pneu-MAP system. This system is a specially designed computer program to objectively evaluate curvatures of the body.

Treadmill/Overspeed Training

Twin Rivers Physical Therapy is the only clinic in the valley to offer Sports Enhancement Training. Our unweighted system in combination with our state-of-the-art high speed treadmill offers overspeed training. This enables physical changes to develop faster acceleration and more endurance. This unweighted system also offers traction and balance to enable a client with acute low back strain to return to jogging earlier and safer.

Biofeedback Training

Twin Rivers Physical Therapy offers Sport Rac biofeedback training equipment. This allows retraining of muscles and other mechanical responses of the shoulder/wrist/knee to contract, relax, move, and position properly. The shoulder therapy, seen to the right, can be used effectively to treat any shoulder condition.

The Sport Rac was developed by the orthopedic surgeons and sports trainers/physical therapists of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Sport Rac is being used by most professional baseball and NFL teams to treat athletes as early as the day of surgery. It has been documented that the best results for shoulder replacements and all orthopedic surgeries is with early intervention as possible. (Under the direction/prescription of the orthopedic surgeon.)
